There are some alternative forms of treatment which are administered by native methods in some countries which have proved to show some improvements and in some cases bring in a complete cure. However, cancer still remain as one of the dreadful health condition known to mankind. Research shows that making some simple changes to lifestyles like eating healthy, refraining from smoking and indulging in regular exercises can significantly reduce the risk of developing cancer .

Caring for people with cancer can be difficult for family members. Regular forms of care under such circumstances can be –

  • periodic administering of medication
  • some basic medical support like wounds dressing etc
  • personal care, if needed, such as bathing, changing clothes or help going to the toilet in certain serious cases
  • emotional support from family members helps a great deal post chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery
  • help to move safely around the home
  • running petty errands, such as buying medicines and shopping for food or assist during hospital visits and so on

Main element a carer can offer to cancer patients are companionship filled with compassion which will help ease the physical and emotional pain and regain the much needed determination to live life.

Reading the motivational stories of people who have won the battle against cancer brings in a positive feeling and trust in the treatment process, which is the basic step towards getting cured.

    1. Hi AJ. that’s sad to hear about your friend’s suffering. My aunt suffered from cancer and passed away very young leaving 2 small children. This was years ago but still the pain and suffering she went through was intense. My cousins miss their mum till date.
